The 2507 Ring Detector solves this problem by offering a ring amplification solution. The device connects to a compatible IP phone and an Algo IP Endpoint, such as the Algo 8180 IP Audio Alerter or the Algo 8128 IP Visual Alerter. When the phone rings, the 2507 activates the Algo IP endpoint to amplify the ring event. The device may activate either an audible or visual alert, making it easier for employees to be alerted to incoming calls, even in noisy environments.
• Limited notification options: Phones often rely solely on auditory alerts for call notifications, which may not be sufficient in certain situations. The 2507 Ring Detector addresses this limitation by providing visual alerting capabilities. By connecting it to compatible Algo devices with smart relay inputs, visual indicators such as flashing lights or customizable visual alerts can be activated, enhancing call awareness for individuals who may have difficulty hearing or who work in environments with high ambient noise.
• Large or spread-out areas: In environments where you need to move around or cover a significant distance, such as warehouses, retail stores, or educational institutions, the ringing of a phone may not reach you if you are far away from your desk or located in a different part of the premises. Having a separate notification device can ensure that you are alerted to incoming calls regardless of your location.
