As part of Algo’s commitment to ongoing product improvement, Algo is launching new firmware version 5.3.4. The download is available now on the Algo website for all products except selected devices (Algo 8036 and 8039). FW v5.3.4 will begin shipping on Algo inventory as a rolling release in early Q2 2023.
Among many important updates, the new firmware includes the highly anticipated Microsoft Teams’ SIP Gateway native compatibility. With firmware v5.3.4, Algo devices can be placed into Microsoft Teams mode and connect directly with the SIP Gateway; this allows for simpler, more streamlined deployment of Algo devices within Microsoft Teams.
In the coming weeks, Microsoft will launch its public preview phase of the Algo compatibility launch, pushing the solution out to the production environment to support early adopter testing. This preview release is required for Algo native compatibility. If you’re interested in testing the solution, please get in touch with the Algo team, and we would be happy to support your efforts.
