Firmware Download For 8028 SIP Doorphone (G2)
This page provides the files necessary to upgrade your 8028 (G2) to Firmware Version 5.4
WHAT’S NEW IN FIRMWARE VERSION 5.4:
- Improves Microsoft Teams pairing code
- Adds option for doorphones to play tone via multicast
- Adds option to play message at start of outbound call
- Supports new ADMP fault detection feature for the doorstation
FIRMWARE UPGRADE PROCEDURE
Please select the current firmware version your 8028 (G2) is running and follow the instructions in one of the sections below:
3.2.7 or Higher
Method 1: Upgrade Using URL Link (Internet access required)
Recommended method if your device(s) can access the Internet
- Open the web interface, go to System > Firmware. Select the ‘From URL Method’. Copy and Paste the URL below and click Upgrade.
- Firmware Upgrade (v5.4):

Method 2: Upgrade Using Downloaded Files
Alternate method for devices that cannot access the Internet
- First, download the file from the link below, and save to your local computer.
- Next, open the web interface, and go to “System > Firmware”. In the Upgrade section, select the .sfw file in the “Signed Firmware File” field. Click Upgrade.
- Firmware Upgrade (v5.4):

Note: Upgrade will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

STEP 1 – Upgrade to 4.3.2 using either method below
Method 1: Upgrade Using URL Link (Internet access required)

- Open the web interface, go to System > Maintenance. Select the ‘From URL Method’. Copy and Paste the URL below and click Upgrade.

Note: Upgrade will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Method 2: Upgrade Using Downloaded Files
Alternate method for devices that cannot access the Internet
- First, download the files from the links below, and save to your local computer.
- Next, open the web interface, and go to “System > Maintenance”. In the Upgrade section, select the .fw file in the “Firmware Image” field, and the .md5 file in the “MD5 Checksum” field. Click Upgrade.
- Firmware Upgrade (v4.3.2):

Note: Upgrade will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
