Algo manufactures a variety of door intercoms for different applications. With a vast feature set, Algo IP Intercoms can deploy for secure door control or emergency call station. While many features are carried across the portfolio, some intercoms have unique features.
Algo door and gate intercoms include the following features:
Wideband Audio
Algo IP Intercoms leverage wideband audio, G.722 HD voice codec, to deliver clear communication to visitors. No matter the location of the door intercom, whether outdoor or indoor, visitors can receive clear instructions. An embedded microphone also allows organizations to establish two-way talkback, ensuring organizations can converse with visitors where necessary.
Door Control
Algo intercoms may provide door unlock control, which organizations can set up using the internal relay. With door control, organizations can grant visitor access into buildings or restricted areas as needed with a simple keypress from a telephone.
For additional security, organizations may choose to deploy the optional 8063 IP Door Controller, which can be securely stored away from public facing door or gate intercoms to prevent tampering. As a two-part intercom system, the 8028 does not require the 8063, while the 8036, with no internal relay, requires the 8063 for door unlock control.
Video
Algo video intercoms allow users to visually monitor visitors at secure door or gate locations. Algo offers two solutions for video capability:
- The Algo 8036 IP Multimedia Intercom which includes H.264 video one or two-way support via video phone or web browser,
- The Algo 8039 IP Video Mullion Intercom which includes a fisheye camera lens and wide-angle field of view for security detection.
Button or Keypad
Algo intercoms include an integrated call button which organizations can configure to initiate two-way talkback. Certain models offer additional functionality through an interactive touch screen or keypad. With these solutions, visitors can dial specific extensions as needed and workers can input access codes for direct access.
PoE Powered
Algo IP Intercoms are PoE, providing power and ethernet over a single connection. The ethernet connection creates simplicity in deployment as only a single network drop is needed to establish an effective IP-based intercom system.
Outdoor Rated
With rugged and durable designs, Algo intercom stations are outdoor rated and can withstand exposure to various weather conditions.
Display Screen
The Algo 8036 IP Multimedia Intercom features a 5.7” sunlight-viewable touchscreen display. The door intercom supports uploading graphics, allowing organizations to tailor the display to assist visitors, promote branding, or facilitate navigation for self-service or support.
Wide Compatibility
As 3rd-party, SIP-compliant devices, Algo IP Intercoms can integrate into most leading UC, Mass Communication, VoIP, and Collaboration systems, offering seamless functionality within existing communication infrastructure and simplifying deployment.
Ease of Use, Management & Supervision
Algo provides user-friendly management tools to configure and monitor the devices within an IP-based Intercom system. Organizations can manage devices individually through a web-based interface, via the 8300 IP Controller, or in the cloud via the Algo Device Management Platform (ADMP) (note, the 8036 cannot register to the ADMP). This simplifies installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
Twisted Pair Wire
The 8028 is a two-part solution that allows for extended reach from network access to door/gate entry. The wiring from the controller to the intercom station can extend up to 1,000 feet (305 meters) for gate applications outside the perimeter of the building. This is ideal for applications in large environments, such as campuses, hospitals, manufacturing, warehouses, and other gated corporations or enterprises.
Vandal-Resistant Models
Algo offers vandal-proof models of select intercoms to ensure device functionality and safety in high-risk locations. The vandal-resistant intercom models prevent tampering of public-facing intercom stations and protects the device from damage for long-lasting performance and use.
